WHAT ADDITIONAL SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO ME ON ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE?

We guarantee that when you arrive all rooms will be ready for occupation by 15:00 hrs. If you would like to arrive earlier, you are of course welcome to enjoy our lunchtime buffet and relax in the spa.

On the day of departure you are requested to vacate your room by 11:00 hrs, but of course you're welcome to enjoy all the facilities of the hotel until 17:00 hrs.
 


 

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and the EC card/Maestro card.
 



WHAT IS AVAILABLE IN MY ROOM ON ARRIVAL?

On your arrival you will find a bottle of apple juice, a small hiking rucksack and a spa bag with towels, a bathrobe and bathroom slippers in your room.
 


 

DO YOU HAVE ARTICLES WHICH GUESTS CAN MAKE USE OF DURING THEIR HOLIDAY IN THE TANNHEIMER TAL?

At reception you can borrow Nordic walking poles, bicycle helmets, Swiss adapters, DVD players and LAN cables. In our underground garage you will find bicycles and mountain bikes for your use free of charge.
 



IS THE INTERNET AVAILABLE FREE OF CHARGE IN THE HOTEL, AND WHERE CAN I GO ONLINE?

Wi-Fi is available free of charge and throughout the hotel at any time, including in your room.
 


 

HOW FAR IS IT FROM THE HOTEL TO THE LIFTS AND CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING TRAILS?

In Grän Tannheimer Tal you will find 5 skiing areas, the nearest lift is only five minutes away and the cross-country skiing trails begin right behind the hotel in Grän.
 



DO YOU ACCEPT DOGS AT HOTEL ENGEL?

Dogs are accepted if booked in advance. Out of consideration for other guests you are requested not to bring your dog into the spa area or into Engel's alpine garden. We make a charge of € 18.00 per day without food, rising to € 23.00 from 1 May 2016.

If you wish to have your dog with you during dinner, we'll be happy to reserve you a separate table in a special area of the restaurant or the hall of the hotel.

We reserve the right to impose a final cleaning charge of €200! 
 


DO YOU CATER FOR GUESTS WITH ALLERGIES?

We are happy to take into account any allergies or special wishes which our guests may have. You are requested to notify us of these in advance, so that chef Schillinger and his team in the kitchen can prepare everything for you.
 



CAN I BOOK MY WELLNESS APPOINTMENT ON THE SPOT?

You're welcome to book your beauty treatment appointments at any time while you are at the hotel. Our beauty and wellness section is available to you daily from 08:00 to 19:00 hrs.

However, you are recommended to notify us of your wishes regarding appointments in advance, if possible.
 



IS THERE A GOOD PLACE TO SHOP IN THE TANNHEIMER TAL?

Elke's PURE Engel Shop is of course an ideal place – here you will find everything your heart desires, ranging from groceries via great decoration products and lovingly selected gift ideas to articles of clothing!

You'll receive more information about shopping facilities in the valley from our angels at the reception.

Opening times:

Monday to Saturday from 09:30 to 18:30 hrs
and on Sunday from 09:30 to 13:00 hrs!

IS THERE A HAIRDRESSER AT HOTEL ENGEL?

You'll find a hairdresser at our sister hotel liebes Rot-Flüh by the Haldensee. For an appointment and further information please see our angels at the reception.
