The limestone cliffs in the well-known climbing regions of Aggenstein, Gehrenspitze and Läuferspitze offer memorable climbing experiences. In addition to 5 practice climbing parks with difficulty levels ranging from 3 to 9, three fixed-rope routes (Friedberger Klettersteig, Klettersteig Lachenspitze Nordwand and Klettersteig Südsporn) are perfect for both occasional climbers and real mountain sports enthusiasts.

26 signposted trails with an overall length of 186 km offer wonderful walks and runs through the Tannheimer Valley. At Hotel Engel we make Nordic walking poles available to you, of course. We'll also be happy to support you in making progress with your training on guided Nordic walking tours. More information about our activity programme is available here.
